I received a letter today from the house of commons stating that the matter had been passed to the Department of Trade and Industry I will update when I receive news on there opinion.

I received a letter from the house of commons acknowledging receipt of my letter I have scanned it but it is hard to read the text so I will quote what was written:

20th February 2006 

Dear Mrs

Thank you very much for your letter and enclosure of the 8th of February.  I am indeed sorry to learn of the problems which your husband encountered in securing leave from work to attend IVF appointments and if the resignation from work which he felt was in consequence compelled to submit.

I will certainly do my very best to help and have today formally raised the matter with the responsible Minister at the Department of Employment.  I will of course come back to you as soon as I have anything of substance to report.
